The mysteries of monsters have finally been revealed and we can now discover all there is to know about them in the Book of Monsters slot. With all this knowledge, we no longer have to fear things that go thump in the night! In fact, we can actually learn how to help them grow, and with them, our winnings! But we’ll save that for later in the review – it’s the core mechanic after all.
Although we now have the book, we still don’t know the exact origin of these monsters. The two leading theories at the moment are that they either came from deep underground as we see in the Monster Superlanche slot, or they were a result of an experiment gone wrong in The Magic Cauldron – Enchanted Brew demo. Our money is on the second option, as it would explain the book of all their secrets – the alchemist that made them also created a guide for whoever encountered them. Either way, we’re happy to see them on a nice big grid with plenty of space to grow nice and, ideally, fast!!
